My Kenwood fridge freezer is tripping power everytime I switch it on..what could be the problem? I have tried changing the mains socket, switching off other electricals and changing fuse but not getting any joy.

Most of the time on a fridge freezer it is one of 2 things.
The most common is a defrost heater.
The next common fault would be the Compressor.
The first thing to try is disconnect the defrost heater then see if it trips or preferably test with a mega meter.
