    I have a customer with a Kenwood KFF2DW14 American style fridge freezer showing this E5 fault code. I have seen a post which sugessted that ES may represent an “energy save” mode, but this is not a feature on this cabinet. The customer does not have a manual, and the one available on line is of no use. Could anyone offer any assistance please.

    No still don’t know what E5 is?..

    Found freezer door not closing properly, after 2 minutes and the vacuum on the door releasing door switch was bringing the light on, adjusted hinge problem solved. 🙂
