ParticipantGood evening all,
The above dishwasher is causing lots of frustration and angst, due to the following…
Customer reported no heat fault, so I visited, and confirmed the heater unit had failed/open circuit.
So, I renewed the heater and found it was leaking from the “0” Ring seals, which aren’t supplied with the unit.
Today, I renewed the above “0” Rings, and all well…. however, on any selected cycle, the machine drains, fills, and then washes for two to three minutes, prior to draining/aborting the cycle, beeping, and displaying Error F5
Information on the above “sketchy” so would appreciate any help with this….
Kind regards,jonty

ParticipantThanks for the info;
Will return and check, although wonder why the dishwasher appears to fill correctly, and washes well for two to three minutes, prior to aborting…

ParticipantService manual states:
F5: Inadequate water supply
Possible problems:
1- Make sure the water input tap is totally open and that there is no water cut.
2- Close the water input tap, separate the water input hose from the tap and clean the filter
at the connection end of the hose. 3-Water inlet hose can be out of order.
4-Water inlet valve filter can be clogged. 5- Water inlet valve can be out of order.
6- There can be a problem with the cable connection of water inlet valve.
7- Floater switch can be out of order or have a problem with the cable connection.
8- Pressure switch of the heater casing group can have a mechanical or cable connection
problem.
9- Circulation pump can be out of order or have a problem with the cable connection.February 10, 2022 at 8:39 pm #480999jontymox
ParticipantGood evening,
Yes, it was F5: Inadequate Water Supply.
The inlet hose was found to be kinked where it connects to the inlet valve, which must have occurred when refitting and testing the appliance… so my fault!
(I can’t understand why water supply appeared fine, and washed well for a few minutes, although machine clearly sensed the above!)
Thanks again,jonty

probably because the machine starts to wash before the fill finishes and it was only then it realised that it had not got enough water in the allotted time
