My kenwood KID60S10 has got water in the bottom of it, the dishwasher pumps out ok but when it is left for a while after the cycle some water appears in the bottom, I have to run a quick cycle to pump out the smelly water before the next cycle, the dishwasher is connected to the kitchen waste sink, could this be water running back or is it a problem with the dishwasher…it worked ok before

Ok I tried that though the pipe is close to the worktop already, the dishes don’t seem to be as clean as they were though that’s probably due to the dirty water, could it be a problem with the pump, it seems intermittent almost as if it pumps out one minute then the next cycle doesn’t finish….the pipe doesn’t seem to be blocked

Hi Dave, yes the water is in the bottom when the wash cycle has finished, it seems to be intermittent though, It also seems dependant on the wash cycle selected

so it does not drain at the end of a cycle or fill up between cycles Which ?

because originally you said it appeared some time after the cycle had finished

Sometimes there seems to be a lot of dirty water after the cycle has finished, other times a small amount of water is in the bottom but after leaving the machine off for a while the water level seems to increase
