Freezer door bottom left corner leaking through hole on the door, freezer compartment also seems to have some water leaking out of the freezer compartment.

There is some water that seems to be flowing out the cold air exhaust (I imagine this is what it is) but I don’t know if I can remove it and how to remove it to see if there is a blockage. This is in the freezer compartment and it seems to be freezing as it’s flowing out.

Also there is leak from the bottom left corner of the freezer door only which baffles me as to where the water is actually coming from.. seems like there could be 2 different issues?

There’s nothing in the door to leak so, any water has to be coming from somewhere else.

Have you checked the fridge above it’s leaking or, something in it leaking?

Not a Kenwood expert, but that looks like the drain in the freezer is blocked and that is causing the defrost water to overflow into the freezer, which is then freezing on the interior floor. If you are not able to remove panels to acess the hole to clear the ice behind it you can turn it off for at least 3-4 days to let it melt on its own.

I think I figured out today what’s going on.
The drain must be frozen as it’s leaking on the freezer floor and as it’s making its way out it is pooling inside the door seal.
And because of the movement of opening the door it goes to the corner so it’s not leaking from inside the door itself but some of it pools into the white seal of the door and the excess falls on the floor..

I think I may have to do that in the end.
Does it take that long? I thought it would melt in a day maybe 2..? do I need to leave it that long? I guess I’ll know by how much water is

If it helps anyone the drain was indeed blocked.
The difficult thing was understanding what I need to do to remove the back panel and there 3 screws hidden by the round caps in the picture which I removed with a screwdriver and that exposed the screws.
From there I realised that the whole drain including the pipe was completely frozen.
I used a heat gun I had to melt the ice and in the end I poured salt and boiling water to clear the final bit of ice I could reach with a tool or the heat gun.
Definitely one to know if something like this happens again.

On another note I think something similar is happening to the fridge as well as the top shelves don’t feel cold and the bottom veg shelf seems to get frozen so I think I’ll need to do the same with the fridge compartment as well but that’s a job for another day.
