KENWOOD KSBSDIX16 American-Style Fridge Freezer – Silver

we got a Kenwood ksbsdix1t6 fridge the other week and got the water hooked up last Thursday. However, for some reason the ice part of it doesnt seem to be working. the bucket doesnt seem to be filling up

First thing to do is check the water supply is okay.

It won’t pull water in till it gets down to temperature either.

Then you’re into checking valves and more.

yeah the water supply seems to be grand as we are filling bottles and cups from it. it was plumbed up last thursday so should be cold enough by now.

the ice tray in the door doesnt seem to be getting any water into it to make the ice

Might be a problem with the water valve then, if it’s still under warranty I’d suggest booking a service call.

What stops it making ice once it’s full? Ours has the ice maker within the freezer and there’s an arm up to stop it making ice and it’s easy to nudge it up by accident.

Also, sorry, a bit beedin’ obvious, but just in case – is there an ice on/off button on the control panel?
