ThanksJune 5, 2020 at 7:10 pm #469381electrofix
Moderatordont know personally who these are. Did it come with the kitchen as it may be an in house brand by the kitchen supplier ?
look at the old switch. A lot of maufacturers buy these in so any numbers may corespond to known types

Participant£ 42.95 bit pricey would that be retail?
Found this one eBay which looks the same.June 6, 2020 at 6:41 pm #469391electrofix
Moderatorthe problem will always be it may look the same but the number of positions and the cams may be different unless there is a part number on the old one you can match then its a chance it may not work
got the feeling its time to tell them to replace it unless you want to buy a switch and hope

KeymasterOne of those switches, by the look of it, was priced on the only price we could get on it and it’s nil stock everywhere I can look now. Given it’s Chinese and nil stock… holding your breath for one would be ill advised indeed.

ParticipantYes Dave I agree.
It’s a job in a tenanted property and the oven is only just over a year old.
I’ll have to explain the options to the landlord either just to charge for my initial call out and diagnosis/research or whether they want to gamble that the part on eBay will do the job. Their call.
Thanks for your help and watch this space.

Moderatortypical landlord take the cheap option
tell them to replace it with a beko. Not the cheapest option but integrated have a 2 year warranty. if they did that first time it would be costing them nothing
