ParticipantAnyone heard of this make or come across it before? Its a built in standard size single oven combined with a microwave. The fan element has blown. Easy enough or so I thought. There is a mesh filter that surrounds the element, with only a small opening so the ‘arms’ of the element are almost next to each other before branching out to the support bracket. Otherwise I could fit a bog standard element in to it. Anyone know how important this mesh filter is and where I could get spares for this. Its a sturdy built product. E.no 090901200022.
I seem to get all the weird makes 🙂Mark

Kuppersbusch are part of Teka Mark and utterly horrendous to get spares for 🙁
Can you take a piccie of the old one and email it to me, I’ll try and spot something to do the job 😉

Bit of a long shot this Mark but have a look at Connect`s ELE4273.
Did one of these years ago and I`m pretty sure that element did the job.Bryan

I’ll take a pic and email to you Dave thanks. I actually repaired a Teka washer and that had a hoover drain pump on it. I’ll also look at that connect jobbie. Does that mesh filter have to be there?. I’m not sure what it does, maybe protect the element from microwaves or am I missing the obvious.

KeymasterDishwashers are usually Zanussi in a skirt or a generic cheapo if it’s Teka.
Washer etc are Candy, bit of a swizz paying £600+ for a Candy but there you go. 🙄
Ovens are Kuppersbusch as are the hobs, if you get a call for a “Honeycomb” ceramic… run. 😉
Craig should be able to look up info on Kuppersbusch okay, but there’s only a part number, no pricing info on the disc or anywhere else bar from Kuppersbusch/Teka and they ain’t known for being cheap, timely or accurate with spares. They also charge an “admin” fee for every order that is not a warranty replacement part.

I’ve emailed Dave a pic but that took me an age. The connect element ele 4273 is not quite right. The arms need to be next to each other before they branch out to the support bracket. Thanks K. for the info if poss could you get craig to pm me with a part no and I might have to chance that its ok. If there was no mesh filter I could fit the connect part and probably a few others 🙂

I have to say I’ve never seen the element you sent Mark and I’ve trawled through all the info I can find to no avail 🙁
The closest is the one Byan posted.
Craig can do an enquiry for you on the genuine one, but it may be a long wait for your customer (I’ve forwarded the picture) 😕

Thanks Dave. If all else fails do you reckon I could cut back the filter to accommodate a wider element? Apparantly these filters are supposed to be changed every now and then.

OK, three choices:
Genuine part number is 182676 and you’re looking at around £45 ex VAT and carriage 😯
Type “Kuppersbusch 182676” (without the quotes) in to Google and buy it from a German site for about 50 euros (no English sites :()
The Ego number I have discovered is 20.23945.020 so you could go down that route with one of the trade wholesalers.
I’m not sure what that filter is to be honest 😕
