we’re looking at speccing a new kitchen and were going to go with Wolf appliances. the kitchen design shop we were in yesterday had a lot of kuppersbusch appliances and the guy was raving about them. I’ve not come across the brand before and can’t find much about them on the internet, does any one have any experience of them? are they their own make or simply rebadged bosch etc.? are they made in germany?

    thanks,
    owain

As a general rule I tell any of my customers that have the sense to listen, never, ever buy your appliances from the person supplying the kitchen unless they are well known makes such as Neff/Siemens etc.

Kuppersbusch are okay for ovens and hobs, beyond that they are made by someone else outside of Germany.

Parts support not the best, product is pretty good on cooking.

thanks for the quick replies. would they (ovens only) compare favourbly with miele in terms of their cooking ability?

Yes, I’d say they were pretty much on a par with Miele on cooking performance and, most probably, on reliability as well.
