I have a Kyoto KU 127 11.8cu.ft. upright freezer from Iceland

All the brackets which support the shelves and drawers have broken. I have tried gluing them but after a while they break again.

There are 2 different styles of brackets as well as left and right ones.

eSpares call the brackets a freezer block and are selling them for £19.99 each – I need 7 pairs!
£280 on shelf supports seems very expensive and is a long way towards replacing a freezer which quite is a few years old.

Are there any cheaper alternatives I could use? Or would I be better replacing the freezer?

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Many thanks
    Lesley

    Hi Lesley

No pattern parts showing on Google I’m afraid. If that’s the cheapest you can find them for I would definately replace it.

If you need help replacing it, post up the physical size you are looking for and we’ll have a go for you.

    Hi Lesley,

That price is a bit severe.

Added them for you at a more sensible level here:

    Thank you K and Don.

I think I might be better replacing it as the door seal isn’t brilliant either. Will probably leave it until this one goes and then go for a smaller one.

    Many thanks
