    E40 fault, pre-ceeded by “tripped fuse”. Not able to talk to customer until later today so I don’t know if it tripped rcd/mcb or blew a fuse – I never took the original call. I’ll clarrify later as machine is in external outhouse – no obvious consumer unit.

    Door lock appears to be ok – it certainly locks/unlocks as it’s supposed to.

    I tried to get this into test mode but I couldn’t for some reason. Maybe I’m just being a bafoon today….

    Checked for poor insulation, both heaters and motor ok.

    Haven’t been able to pull the pcb out but did manage to re-seat some of the connections… WD not a lot of room.

    Set programme and start – locks, pauses and E40….

    Damp due to location. Look for condensation on brush holders. Anything under 40 megohms is enough.
    Maybe the E40 needs clearing through diagnostics.
