not looked at this yet apparently it a french machine. customer says the drum is jammed with the access out of sight is there any easy way to move this or gain acess?

I’m pretty sure they’re built like the old Philips top loaders. You should be able to get a side panel off, pull out the element and, if that’s not sufficient, the tub side will probably be held on with clips. Though the first approach would be to try and revolve the drum to free the trapped clothing (?).
