    just been out to fit a lagging wrap for the first time as a mouse had mad home in it. ordered lagging wrap from hotpoint it turned up fitted it fine but when i fired cooker up it smoked loads. dunno reason for this. has any one had experiance with fitting the lagging wraps ???? cooker is a hotpoint ew82p

    No me sorry, but the most likely explanation is due to dust and damp build-up within fibres being burnt off? Page 3 of the user instruction book warns of smoke vapours on first time usage. They advise keeping pets and children clear with the windows open to allow the odour to dissipate.

    All the mouse droppings and urine cleared away first right? 😉

    Tip : –

    Mice should be cooked for 15 minutes at 180 degrees. The tails should crisp up nicely but are best avoided serving up as a rule. 😀
