I have a Lamona dishwasher Lam8603 and the wash pump motor does not seem to working correctly. The dishwasher drains and fills up with water ok, the heating element works ok( I’ve replaced that over a year ago) and when the wash pump is supposed to be on the noise from the dishwasher suggests the pump is trying to pump but not very good( water doesn’t come out of the top or bottom spray nozzles .I initially changed the capacitor but that didn’t work so I bought a new wash motor pump and that too hasn’t worked.
I’ve checked the obvious .. the suction and delivery are clear.( there was no debris in the old impeller and the motor and impeller turned freely)
im going to check the voltage to the motor in case that’s the issue..
Does anyone have any suggestions to possible ideas of why the motor isn’t working?
    thanks

this is a fairly simple machine. as long as the motor is ok and powered the only thing left is some sort of blockage

Hello Dave thanks for your help.
    I managed to fix it
The noise I was hearing when the washer was in a cycle ,I initially thought was the wash pump motor ,was in fact I think the heater boiling off the water( there was no flow thru the heater to remove the heat).

On removing the dishwasher and putting it on its side
I looked at the cable assembly below the door ( the white protective sleeve was worn)and I noticed the yellow cable was snapped ( yellow cable is one of the two that feeds the wash motor).. connected the two and it works .
    I’ve binned the marigolds.
Hope this helps other on where to look if they have dishwasher issues
    thanks
