Lamona 8605 integrated dishwasher

Trying to help out on an issue with a holiday let whilst the owner is away- the Lamona dishwasher will not fill with water. When you select a program and shut the door to start the pump runs constantly and nothing else happens- no water fill or anything else. Switching it off at the mains is the only option left. Is there a reset option or a fault code display option? I cannot easily access underneath as there is a fitted skirting/ plinth that is beyond me without my full range of tools. There does not seem to be any obvious blocked drains and the filters are clean. Any clues.

there is an anti flood float in the base where all the works are

chances are this has flooded which turns the pump on unless you switch off at the plug

Thanks for that. I managed to get access to the base and there was indeed water in there. I sponged out about a litre and a half and pushed the switch area upwards from underneath just because I could. It has been working since without issue and I don’t see any water drips or accumulation since after running on each program at least once. I have also repositioned the drain outlet so that it goes up from the connector on the waste pipe and not down. There would have been sink water backfilling in the as found set up- with anecdotal evidence of a leak onto the floor at the door before I got involved. I suppose it could be possible if it backfilled enough for water to leak there and some to run into the base. I couldn’t tell if the water I cleaned out was clean or dirty- I am verging on dirty but can’t be certain
