Lamona Dishwasher

I own a Lamona HJA 8631 dishwasher which did not drain when last used. I have manually emptied it and checked / cleaned all filters. The control panel is lit up as usual although nothing happens when I turn on the machine and close the door.
I have noticed that the salt and rinse aid lights are on. Is there some sort of cut off switch which prevents the dishwasher from working if the salt and rinse aid need filling, ( I have non to refill at this time, but will obviously try later).
If this is not the case can you suggest any other remedy I can attempt before I call out an engineer.

salt and rinse light dont matter. its only a warning to refill but if you use all in 1 tablets you should not fill them

sound like something is caught in your pump. so the drain pump has to be opened to removed whatever it is. normally glass
