Lamona dishwasher – LAM8606

Fault reported is the display flashing random digits & shapes and you can’t choose a cycle but will work through a program (which I’m guessing was the one set previously)…… I naturally assumed that the display PCB was the problem, so fitted a new one but the error didn’t go??

So I fitted the main PCB and a combination of the new and old display boards but still the problem persists….. Any ideas please?

Ps: both boards from Connect “seemed to be” already opened as they both had sellotape in them and a different sticker (as well as their yellow one)…… So could it be that one or both PCBs could be faulty OR is there another fault I’m missing 🙁

the fact the new boards give the same fault tends to make me think they are not faulty

to check part no i get (without serial no ) are

display 1739440020 or 1739440120
main board 1510154470

i would check harness for damage and plugs for contamination. With the leads disconnected both ends check for reading of leakage between wires

after that if you want long shots disconnect everything you can ( motor heater etc) and see if display improves

I would definatley check the wiring in the door hinge carefully as I have seen multiple machines with broken wires here causing display issues.
