Lamona Dishwasher – lights on but not working?!

Hi Please can someone help. I have a Lamona 8606 Dishwasher. All the lights are on and it will let me choose a programme but when I shut the door – it does not start. Have switched off at mains for 5 mins and switched back on – changed to different programme – checked nothing is obstructing anything – but still does not work – any ideas please?

Turning it off and back on will not change the programme from memory. Have a look at your instruction booklet to cancel the original programme. If successful the new programme you choose starts off with the drain pump pumping if it doesn`t the drain pump is duff hence the problem.
