Lamona Dishwasher Problem

Hi, I have inherited a Lamona HJA8650 Dishwasher on moving into a new home. The dishwasher was stuck on the 50 degree wash and would not change selection. I followed a fault finding procedure found online but no error code came up. I then tried the reset also suggested on the same website and the machine seemed to go through a test wash OK but then only the cold rinse programme lit up and it is not possible to change the selection again. Any help would be gratefully received.

had one with a similar problem last week

there are 2 modules in the door, the right hand one has the buttons on it and water can get in and mess things up. with mine i stripped out the board and on careful inspection i could see corrosion caused by water on the board

i changed that board and all ok

of course a cannot guarentee i am correct but if you find corrosion its very liklely
