Lamona doble oven hja4620

Hello there,trying to replace the timer on a Lamona hja4620 double oven.
It appears that the outside face of the control panel is spot welded to the metal backing plate that holds all the controls. Do i have to break the spot welds to gain access or is there another way. the whole control panel is removable from the oven frame but still cant find any hidden screws. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. 😡 😡

from what i can see the clock clips on from the rear of the panel

Right the clock does just clip in.
it is held in place by four clips from the outer plastic sleeve. Loosen the bottom clips first which makes it a lot easier. The clock then pulls out complete and then you can remove the timer buttons.
main problem is that it is hard too see because the frame plastic and the plastic sides of the clock are the same colour. Hope this helps out others
