this heap of junk was already fitted in a kitchen of a home we’ve just bought, we’ll be replacing the whole kitchen/appliances within the next couple of years, but in the meantime…
own brand from Howdens, think it’s a re-badged Beko.
only used it a few times but each time it takes hours & hours, literally, to even do a supposed short wash@40c. it seems to get so far, then keep going back & re-setting the time, doesn’t even seem to get to the spin part.
got fed up with this today after nearly 3 hours & it hadn’t even got to rinse, so pressed & held the start button to cancel the programme. the ‘play’ symbol is flashing, but it just won’t clear the current programme. i’ve turned the machine off & at the wall, left it for 20 mins, it’s still stuck. won’t cancel current programme & can’t reset to a new programme.
how on earth do i get it to clear & remove my clothes?! 😳

found the problem! 😛
drain hose was squashed against the power plug as there wasn’t enough allowance made for the plug when it was originally fitted, or checked that the hose was free of obstruction.
today’s wash must have been just enough vibration to cause it to stop any flow at all. we’ve only used it perhaps 3 times previously so the problem has obviously got worse over those uses, until today.
meltdown averted, favourite dress retrieved & husband happy as i’m not shouting any more! 😀
