Lamona Integrated washing machine door lock

Hi, I have a Lamona integrated washing machine that was there when we bought house last year- not sure how old it is. The locking mechanism has been temperamental and had to bash the machine or put on several cycles sometimes to get it to unlock. Today i’ve pressed the button to unlock and its pushed through- there is no resistance behind it now so i’ve obviously exhausted the life of this dodgy lock and its died…. so I have 2 questions:
1- can I get the machine open to retrieve my washing?
2- is it beyond repair, do I need a new machine?? Thanks!!

lot of questions here

can you get washing out. Probably but you would have to manually open the lock by getting machine out. making sure its not plugged in and getting you hand down inside and manually release the door

is it worth getting
fixed. short answer don’t know depends on what has gone faulty and if the part is still made

a model number would help for start off
