We have recently moved home and the integrated dishwasher is a Lamona LAM8301. It has worked fine for around 4 months now however now is no longer operating.

The red salt light is on so we topped up with 1kg of dishwasher salt and it seemed to clear. This did not solve the issue though. Our issue is we cannot select a programme from the display. The machine powers on but won’t let us select a cycle. We have tried holding the ‘P’ button and Start to reset. When we do this all lights do light up but it still won’t let us select a cycle. Interestingly it does allow a test cycle which runs fine. Then all lights go out and won’t let us select again.

has anyone come across this? Having read the forums a few people have mentioned PCB or replacement display. Any help would be appreciated. We tried calling the Customer Service Line on the dishwasher but no one ever answers!

when you switch on do all the light light up and then go out or do they stay on ?

    Thanks for the reply.

when we switch on (from turning off at the wall and turning on locally from the machine) no lights come on at all except the red ‘S’ light which has re-appeared, and the red ‘circle’ light. The green lights (for each programme setting) dont come on at all. When we try and select a programme at this point nothing happens (normally the green led lights up next to whichever programme selected).
the programme lights only all light up when I hold in both the ‘start’ and ‘P’ button before switching on and then turn on machine. I believe that is like a ‘soft reset’. At that point it then allows a test run of the machine but still not able to select a programme.

it’s almost as if the programme is stuck (when the machine stopped the first time it happened half way through a cycle ).

    thanks

suggest you open the module where the buttons are and look for water damage
