Lamona LAM8302 – No start flashing start indicator

Hi all, desperate for some help please

as above the LAM8302 has P1 not flashing and the triangle start / cancel indicator flashes constantly and the machine will not start.

cleared filter, added salt, reset at plug but no difference.

any help gratefully received

I think I would check door switch first. if its not working the unit will think door is open and wont start

thanks – where and how do I check the door switch please ?

door switch is in the top of the door. you need to access it and make sure the contact is opening and closing when the door is

Ok found the door switch and activated it with a screwdriver and the machine came on, returned it to off but when I close the door it still won’t come on, the tongue on the washer side is present but I don’t think it’s activating the door switch – any fixes for this ?

Update – who’s a silly wife – looks like she pressed something that caused this issue. I pressed the P button continuously and the flashing start icon changed and allowed the thing to work !
