Lamona LAM8600 not draining at end of cycle

Hello forumites,
wondering if someone can help me out, please.

We’ve just move house into a place with a built in dishwasher – a Lamona LAM8600. No manual provided (obviously!).

It’s run fine a couple of times but we ran it today and at the end of its cycle there was an inch or so of water in the bottom. I emptied this out (manually), cleaned out the filters and then ran a second cycle with an empty machine, but the same thing happened again.

I am able to drain the machine (press and hold the start/pause button til the light flashes then close the door) and that works (I can see the water flowing into the sink’s drain if I shine a torch down there) so I don’t think it’s a pump issue.

Anyone any ideas? Obviously it’s workable as it is with the manual emptying but I’d like to fix the problem if I can!

could just be a patial blockage so it does not drain all the water in time allotted

when you drain it you are only draining whats left so it makes it

i would check the sink end first
