Larger freezer on fridge freezer

I’m trying to buy an upright fridge freezer (not american). We want a large freezer with a small fridge, unfortunately, search engines will not find one. Have scoured various sites but just cant find one. Would prefer black. Anyone know where to buy one please 🙂

Hello, what sort of dimensions are you working with? are you only looking at domestic units?

Hi, I’m looking for a domestic unit no more than 180X60X60cms. I don’t keep a lot of items in the fridge – Milk, eggs, bread and cheese, sometime a few more bits, but I don’t need a huge fridge on the other hand I do need a large ish freezer for prepared meals etc etc. Just cant find a unit that has a larger freezer. Even the units labelled 50/50 have a larger fridge ?????

the freezers are always smaller as they have to accomodate the compressor to power it plus if its self defrost it takes even more space

if you want this sort of setup you would have to use seperate fridge and freezer as as far as i know no-one does a smaller fridge than 50-50

also 50-50 does not refer to internal area but to height because if you change the do it by area its prob more like 70 fridge 30 freezer

Usually, freezers are smaller as there will be a compressor to power the unit and also comes with self defrost which kills more space and to my knowledge, you better go with a different freezer and fridge if you can put in the budget.
