ParticipantHi
might need a new washing machine. My Bosch WFF2001 might be too ill.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a larger size machine than the standard. have a large family and am thinking it might be a good idea to be able to do bigger washes? Must be a front loader though as will have to go under a shelf.
Any advice well appreciated.
Thanks
SM

hi,
i will have a go but when the rest of the bosch fan club jump on i will probably wish i hadnt bothered but wait for itHOOVER MAKE 6KG, 7KG, 8KG, AND 9KG LOAD WASHING MACHINES.
i will leave it at that apart from they all come with a 5 year parts guarantee so no need for any warranty nonsense and they are all front loaders.

Hi SM,
Before you go down that path you may want to have a read of this article before you commit to a large capacity washing machine.
There are pros and cons to it.

lol
funny, so funny
welded tubs, non programmable pcbs, weights dropping off and motors going down for laughs
5 yrs parts = £99 per repair, as opposed to extended warranty = one off payment for limitless repairs
or maybe just the 2yr standard bosch warranty
the facts dont change, hoovers not as bad as the indesit tat… but it wont be long if theyre not careful

Thanks Guys for those suggestiions.
I think what I had in mind was not so much a larger drum size in an existing 60X60 unit. But a larger machine altogether in abigger enclosure etc.
Are there such machines for the domestic consumer?
they have them down the launderette! (but maybe they’re too big.
😕

Hi
Whirlpool produce a couple of large capacity machines just be aware that the top loader has no heating facility so large amounts of hot water are required and the waste outlet needs to be larger. That aside they will complete a wash cycle in about twenty five minutes.

ParticipantIf they’re still around , search out a Bosh WBB range. I think they had a 9 or 10kg drum.
