I have a dead AEG Lavamat. Was working fine, turned off and on and now the display/everything is dead.
I checked the obvious, fuses, rcd’s etc all fine. I checked the suppresor and its also fine. Looking at the back of the controller, none of the capacitors are bulged, no scorching on the board, Same on the PCB. Question, is there anyway of establishing which is u/s ie the controller or the PCB? Given the PCB has a replacement cost of circa 45 and the controller 200 +, sod’s law says its the controller, can I get either tested, (I have removed both from the machine)
cheers
