ParticipantHi to everybody,
I have a problem with my AEG lavamat 52610, which is suddenly switching off during working process – regardless of the program (washing, spin-drying, soaking.) The machine is running for a few minutes, everything is working ok. , then suddenly stops, lights shut off and washing machine seems to be dead. After setting main switch to basic position, waiting for a while (approx. 5minutes) and choosing a program – the same or another, machine is able to work again, but failure is repeating in shorter period again.
I have checked brushes and thermal protection in motor, tried to bypass anti-interference protection (if it will be damaged) – everything negative.
Thanks for your hints.October 30, 2013 at 6:00 pm #403612Seamy

Check appliance in another socket outlet to see if its a faulty socet causing the problem, check door interlock & loom to it. If its an old type washer with the timer knob used to pull out to switch on & in for off it may be that the on/off contacts are damaged.
Post 9 digit product code from your machine to be certain the information you get relates to the product you have.October 30, 2013 at 7:41 pm #403613troglod

I have tried to disconnect all possible connectors (door lock, water level sensor, solenoids) during time when machine is running. Sometimes (door lock) it causes interruption of run, but always WITHOUT switching off the lights. The blackout is coming about 10th minute of the cycle (doesn’t matter which one) and after this is washer for ca. 5 minutes dead – it means nothing helps to rescue it – turning the switch, pressing the buttons, unplugging the socket. After 5 min when I plug the socket and choose the program everything seems to be OK, washer is running normally until 10th minute. I have tried move and shake with PCB and all wires during cycle – negative.
