hi i have a ZANUSSI ZWF1421W ive just noticed a small dribble of water now and then coming from under the door trailing down to floor very slight at moment but do not want it to get worse .
After reading up on this it says it might be door seal ? which seems like a big job and knowing my luck expensive for part ? is there anything i can put on it to help ? 😕 thanks

    Re: Leak from door

check that the fabric conditioner is not blocked and especially under the soap drawer for a `dam` of congealed soap/fab cond. What happens is on the last rinse the machines can leak as a trickle from the dispenser and it runs down the door to 6 o/clock and drips giving the impression it is the door seal that is the problem- check this first. If the door seal has a tear in the lip of the seal then it is that, or hairs on the glass, overfilling can also cause the problem. Door seal not expensive, but not easy to do if you`ve never done one before.

“Corroded?” By that I guess you mean the door seal rubber is perished? And chances are the porthole glass needs a good clean to remove the soap scum and lime scale build-up. Then replace the door seal and the jobs a good ‘un!
