    Hi
I have a Smeg DI614H integrated dish washer which has developed a leak on the drying fan assembly.

At first I noticed water on our floor boards and on taking the lower cover off the dish washer i can see a pool of water, I’ve cleaned the water up and cleaned all filters and door seal just to be sure but when I run my dish washer everything is fine until the drying process and this is where I see a small droplet of water leaking while the fan is drying. So at the moment im turning it all off when its at the drying stage.
looking at where the fan is and how it connects into the machine there is a hole that part of the design from what I can see as there two similar ones above, theres small amounts of water in here so i tried adding more to see if it caused the leak but nothing happened.

Smeg cant give me any help so I need to find out
    1) what it could be
    2) can it be easily fixed
    3) buy a nice machine

    thanks

Re: Leak from Drying fan assembly

I don’t know about the smeg but have had the same problem on a Miele machine

The Miele fan unit is inside the door and it has a drain tube to get rid of any water that gets inside. In my case the tube was blocked and it could be a similar thing
