    I have an elderly Smeg Dishwasher and it has developed a small but constant leak from the back right side of the machine.

    I have taken off the side panel and I can see that the leak is coming from behind the flat seethrough panel containing water. Just to the right of the phillips screw. BTW What’s the name of this component?

    How do I get behind the flat water panel? Is this likely to be a dripping o-ring?

    At the top of the flat panel there is also some scaling.

    The machine doesnt seem to use rinse aid. Any ideas about what might be stopping that?

    The o rings are prone to leaking. Quite easy to fix if you undo the big connection inside the machine
