I have an AEG Favorit 44070 IV integrated dishwasher that leaks a little – and intermittently – from the front RHS (it seems to be OK if we haven’t used it for a while).

Taking the plinth off and looking underneath, there are some small holes (two on each side) at the angle where the vertical part – at the bottom, behind the plinth and between / above the legs – meets the horizontal “overhang” on which the door is hinged. One of the two holes on the RHS is where the water droplets are escaping, and running down the “behind the plinth and between / above the legs” vertical face.

Any ideas why water would escape from this hole and how to fix it?

Apologies for the appalling technical description!

    Thanks!

Look at the bottom spray rotor very carefully, The side seam is known to split, thus changing the spray pattern in the machine, resulting in leaks as you have described.

Checked that and it looks ok – even took it our and put water through it. how does the water get from the sealed inside to the small hole at bottom? I don’t understand what that hole is for or where the water is coming from.

Any other ideas? Where would water be getting in where it shouldn’t in order to leak out of these littel holes in the first place??? The water is not coming out of the door.
