ParticipantWe’ve turned our dishwasher inside out, but we just can’t find where the leaking water is coming from.
One strange thing I noticed was the big hole in the dishwasher “ceiling”, next to the uppper spray arm. When we removed the top cover and the isolation there was also some water in this area….
Is this hole normal or did we loose the cover for this hole??
(sorry for my bad english, I’m from czech republic)
Thanks a lot in advance,
Pasqual

KeymasterRe: Leaking Bauknecht “Florida”
The hole is the leak…..
There should be a large grommet in this hole, it usually falls inside the dishwasher when it fails, check in the floor of the dishwasher.
It is a spare part and can be fitted from the inside with a drop of sealant.
If you post the 12 digit number from the label begining 85 I’ll get the part number for you and you can ask your local agent for the part….assuming your not in the uk, otherwise Dave will sell you one from the shop.
won’t ya Dave 😉Kevin

Wow, thanks Kevin for your quick reply!
I’m glad it’s (hopefully) just the hole that’s causing trouble.
Unfortunately there’s no label/number on the machine, so we’ll have to find it out some other way. Thanks again and haver a good day,
Pasqual
(I doubt if Dave would even sell such tiny & cheap part!) 😆

ParticipantFlorida was GSF341S/WSFLORIDA I think. Don’t Whirlpool call the tub bung a “threaded cap”?
If Dave can find a part number I’m sure he’ll get it for you, although Whirlpool Service in Czech Republic might be a quicker option.

Sirs,
I have a leaking Bauknecht.
I ‘googled’ Bauknecht dishwasher spare parts.
I picked the most likely page….this one.
I have the self same problem. Spooky or what!!
My model is GSF 402 WS (I am British but now live in France) the service number is
8546 402 22410Will this model use the same part as recommended by Mr Conway? It certainly looked the same as our failed seal. If so, can you ship to France?
If not, no problem, have (still) lots of friends in UK who can forward it to me.
Best Regards

Hi
M. Penguin45.
Clicked on your link on Saturday and sent the email asking for price quote for the said part.
To date, no reply. Are they very busy and should I just be patient? Or should I send a followup email?
Do not wish to cause aggravation if not necessary.
regards

ParticipantRe: Leaking Bauknecht “Florida”
Sorry Peter.
I didn’t get that one for some reason.
If the one in the shop looks correct and it fits in the roof of your dishwasher then that will be the correct one.
Please use my initial link directly to the product.
Don’t worry about any extra postage to France, the £3.50 will cover it 😉
Dave.

ParticipantRe: Leaking Bauknecht “Florida”
Hmm, that’s odd, i’ve never seen a different type of these.
Not to worry, send it back to the address on the packaging (CES) and I’ll sort it our for you Peter.
In the meantime, I’ll order the part number Penguin came up with from Whirlpool so there shouldn’t be too much of a delay.
Dave.
