    Hi,
I have a Bosch dishwasher, purchased approx 3 years ago, with a plastic base/stainless steel inside.
The dishwasher is now leaking due to the poor joint between the two materials and has consequently blown the heater element in the Heat Pump. The Heat Pump is sited at the lowest point of the dishwasher where the water subsequently collects.
My question is, has anyone tried to seal the dishwasher from the inside along the joint of the two materials? Is there a suitable silicon type adhesive for this application?

    Thanks
    Vic.

scrapped a few dishwashers because of this problem. its a known problem in the trade and is down to poor build quality and Bosch trying to make the product cheaper without testing it properly first. Its mad that they are still persisting with this design
if you do try any to seal it on the inside any sealant you use needs to be food safe otherwise it could contaminate the dishes. you could try sealing on the outside but in my opinion write a very upset letter to bosch and go out and buy a Smeg or a Beko
