Help this is causing real problems.
It’s leaking from the bottom of the screw in filter at the front of the machine. My husband thinks it’s a crack in the drainage “boot” however my thoughts are more towards the screw in filter basket and it’s seal system.
The machine gets used a lot for washing dog blankets so the filter is cleaned often and we do regular tub cleaning washes too. We also have a water softener fitted as we live in a hard water area.
I’ve taken the filter part and given it a good clean and made sure all the seals were tight and put silicone grease/gel stuff on that my husband gave me and it still leaked when I tested it out. I thought if the boot had cracked/ perished it would leak out of the bottom of the machine.
Any help would be really good, I haven’t even been able to track down the filter so I can replace it and see if that works!
    Many thanks

its one of those suck and see faults
you have to find the line of water and where it had come from

take the kickstrip off if it has one put machiner up on a few bricks and using a mirror try to find the leak

The last lg I repaired-last week- which was not your model number had a leak from the dispenser hose (which is common)in which the water ran down the circumference of the tank and dripped at 6o/clock , ran towards the pump area on my model which is on the left of the machine as the floor sloped that way and gave the impression that the pump/filter was leaking or that the tank seal was leaking when looking underneath when this was not the case at all-£10 hose fixed the problem……….long shot for your problem but a point none-the-less.
