ParticipantI have a Bendix washing machine (B/W 103W) which has just started leaking out from the soap dispenser during filling and rinsing. I’ve cleaned the soap dispenser (including the nozzles spraying water into the dispenser); taken off the dispenser hose and cleaned it out (including the U bend as it enters the drum); cleaned out the pump and the ball valve in the hose from the bottom of the drum into the pump. I’ve also reduced the water pressure going in. They were all pretty clean before starting but I went through all options trying to find the problem, but it is still persisting. Help…any other options to try??

its not a common problem on these machine but there are only a few reasons why it happens some of which you seem to have covered like blocked soap hose
possible blocked ducts in the roof of the soap dispenser housing if not turn water off, start machine, the when it asks for water turn it on just enough to get it to fill in a reasonable time

Dave, I had already cleaned the ducts as they were gunked up with scale, but then unsure as it may have allowed the water to flow quicker. Thanks for your advice – I’ll try to adjust the water inlet pressure as advised.

Can`t find your model!! BIW103W? Have you got a 7″ black rubber hose, other than the dispenser to tank hose, that comes from the right hand side of the soap box that goes to the top of the tank near the front of the tank? If so that is the breather hose and if that gets blocked-up the machine creates a vacuum within the tank as the machine is filling up which then allows the water to pour out of the front of the soap draw. Difficult to believe I know and very uncommon but not unknown… usually happens on a second fill such as the 1st rinse, or the 2nd, but can even happen on wash fill though that`s even rarer.
