    Hi all.
My whirlpool 4505 washer leaks water from the detergent drawer. I can’t see any kind of seal around it, is leaking from the drawer a common problem?
    Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks.

When does it leak, e.g. during fill, during wash, during spin?

The mrs tells me it leaks right from the beginning of the wash cycle, but she isn’t sure if it is during the fill cycle or when the machine starts to wash. She will be using it later this evening so I’ll watch to see what is happening.

RH23: The machine is level & it was working fine on our water pressure, but I will try turning it down a bit, thanks.

Just tried it & it leaked shortly after it started to fill up, before it started to wash.
The washer is in a utility room which has its own water main. I turned the stopcock back a few turns but it still leaked unfortunately.

After the machine finished filling up I dried the front & then trapped a piece of tissue along the bottom of the drawer. Through the rest of the wash rinse & spin cycle the tissue stayed dry so it looks like it only leaks during the initial fill up.
