ParticipantGrrrrr 👿 Dishwasher decided to play silly buggers this week! Firstly the dishwasher tripped the RCD, left it off for a few days, when I switched it back on it started working. Today however it has decided to leak from the bottom. I put it on a rinse cycle, and it seemed to work…water filling up and draining away. Put it on a 40 degree cycle and the water is pumping out, but is also leaking from the bottom again. Light flashes and beeps continually…
Has anyone any idea what is causing this? Whether it is expensive to fix? Can I fix it myself…… any feedback would be appreciated!

No. It’s easier to remove the lower front panel and look in from the front.
Power off for anything other than observation.

Thanks Penguin45…I’ll have a look tomorrow! Is it fairly straightforward to take out old pump and replace a new one?

On the surface of it, it’s quite straightforward. Two wires, two hoses, two screws. Lay the machine on it’s left hand side, remove the base panel and it’s all laid out for you.
The catch is the hose clips. These are a “crimp” type and are no longer included with the new motor, so you have to re-use them. You’re going to be looking at something very like this:

Well done. Don’t put yourself down – there’s far too many people out there who’ll do that for you if you let them.
