Helping my daughter move into her new house, we inherited a Hoover HF130E, but on trying it out it leaked near the front LHS. I thought it might be the pump, but have now traced it to a hose that has been worn away by the vibrating drum – presumably the previous owners washed too many trainers! It’s a long black rubber hose that goes from the softener dispenser at the top down to the bottom of the machine.

What’s this hose called? – and is it available as a spare?… or shall I go to my local Car spares shop and buy a length of suitable diameter tubing from them?

    Thanks.

    Re: Leaky Hoover HF130E

Common fault on this Candy machine, hose has been superceded by a plastic corrugated hose, part number 91620000, e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should do the trick, difficult to refit the top end, please be sure to remove the plug before working on the machine. Due to the moulded shape of the original hose and the fact that the ends are of different diameters then anything other than the correct hose would be a waste of time.

In fact the hose you require is in the shop here. http://tinyurl.com/2o8le3

Don’t worry about that old picture, chances are you will receive the later modification.
