Our fridge has stopped working. The light comes on but the fridge is silent. There is no clicking when changing the thermostat setting.Please does anyone have any ideas.
DavidHi David,
It is possibly a faulty thermostat, but there are other things that could cause similar problems. The only way to make sure is to meter it out and see what’s going on I’m afraid.

You need to find out if the stat is operating correctly, it should make on rise to start the compressor.
What the contacts are etc. I couldn’t tell you as there are many different combinations and we’ve usually just got to work it out too.
