    hi been to this tf5586 and it wants a defrost timer on it,I think its made by BEKO can any tell me if LEC have done a recall on this model

    No!

    Only the LEC TF2304W is effected by the Beko recall (SEE HERE)

    I phoned lec and they said that model is ok but the model looks just like the one that affected

    yes correct on that, mine is only here say atm , till i get the official on this . I did here on the grape vine that there was another fire on a built beko branded lec freezer , not fridge freezer , radio cut short on me going under a tunnel.
    i dare say kwatt will no more , well i hope so , lol
