A recently viewed notice from LEC has indicated that they have been acquired by Glen Electric. One wonders if we have seen another UK company going to the wall, bearing in mind their losses last year in the domestic fridge market. From memory did they not close the Belling factory down in Enfield shortly after buy-out.
