Please help…..
The problem is with a lec t450cw fridge freezer, my lil sis (bless her) turned it off to defrost and it hasnt worked since!
The light is on, there is no sound what so ever from rear near compressor/relay when turned on or off.
I will try and find out what compressor is on it tomorrow.
Is there any way of testing the compressor? or the relay?

The only way to test is with a multi-meter to check the supply through the stat and compressor really.
It will most likely be the thermostat but if you are unsure then have a look in Repairs@ for a local engineer.
Just a thought….I hope your lil’ sister didn’t defrost it with anything sharper than her elbow???
If you have a go yourself then don’t forget to completely unplug the appliance as a first step :zap:
