    Hi,

Anyone have any technical speil on these? Suspect stytem blockage. Fridge not cooling, controled by usual mechanical stat that measures o.k.

Freezer functioning ok contolled by p.c.b (frost free). no usual ducting from freezer compartment to fridge compartment. appliance has solenoid valve on back near compressor controled by stat or board ❓

    wiring diagram appreciated.

If there’s a solenoid, I would imagine this stops the supply of gas to the fridge evaporator when required so I would suspect either that or whatever switches it (sorry no tech or wiring diagram). Also possible is the thermostat is a special one that switches off when gas is required giving a closed circuit to hold the solenoid closed ?

    Thanks Dave.

Yer thats the conclusion I came to Dave, just wanted to confirm that p.c.b controls valve. Are these pretty reliable mechanicly?.

You should have seen it this morning, six of em, all immigrants sitting there watching! poor english apart from “is it fixed”.
It was more like an audience with Tubs

To be honest I’ve never seen this model but on the whole it depends whether the solenoid is energised for most of the time when no gas is required or vice versa.
