I have Leibherr IKB 2810 integrated refrigerator which is nearly 5 years old. The alarm has started sounding and the LCD displays F2 as an error code. Looking around the forum this appears to be an evaporator sensor, although that was the fault code for a different range of Leibherr.

Does anyone know if the F2 fault code means the same for this model.

Is it easy to fix? Is there anywhere I can find instructions on this (I’ve searched the web but no success).

I’ve user the engineer search but there are none that come up in my area – can anyone recommend anyone in or near the Cambridge area that will do a good job and not overcharge?

If IKB 2810 is not the actual model, the other identifiers on the sticker are Class SN-ST Type 1 6223 4.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Phil

hello phil, f2 is a fridge evaporator sensor fault, meaning that you do need a new sensor. (part no 9590142)
in your model you will probably have 3 sensors, an air sensor, evap sensor and bio fresh sensor.
the evaporator sensor is located behind the back wall that you see when you look in the fridge.
changing the sensor will mean removal of the fridge from the cupboard as the new sensor joins at the back on the outside of your appliance.
i don’t know anyone from your area unfortunately, but you say you’ve used the engineer search facility and it’s not thrown up a possible repairer?
does anyone looking in on this thread know anyone from the cambridge area that could do this repair?
    hope you get sorted out.

    cheers.
