We have had the wine fridge for about 5 years now, and in the last year if the ambient temp of the kitchen rises, so does the wine fridge. It does cool back down after some time but the consistent temp warning beeping does drive us mad.
I’ve taken the back off as it doesn’t seem like the heat exchange fan isn’t engaging and have seen that the heat exchange fan shrowding has scorched and slightly melted, but it doesn’t seem to have affected the spinning of the fan. There are also other slightly scorched plastics in the rear.

Would this be a fan motor replacement? Or is there a fuse I could check? Or troubleshooting steps would be amazing!

    Thanking you!

If the fan is running, then it is not faulty, heat marks are not uncommon.
Try taking the front grill off and checking that the air intake is not clogged up with fluff, it probably is and will need cleaning with a hoover, this will affect the unit in high ambient temperature.
    Regards,
    Tony.

Just to add to this, the fan runs in conjunction with the compressor, if the fan does not run then a new one is needed, so will the index number from your unit will need to be supplied to identify the parts on that year of unit.

    Hi Tony,

Thank you for your fast reply and guidance.
Have checked the air intake and it is all clear, the heat fan doesn’t run at all. I might have to check this with a voltage meter?

I would say the fan has failed then, which would also explain why it struggles in high room temperatures, the fan is in stock at Liebherr priced at £81.05 plus VAT and postage, The terminals for the fan should show 240v between the two wires.
