    Hi Forum,

We are a house of 4 and need our oven pretty soon. Money is tight and I tried to find the cause today. Here is my and had an idea…

OK Both ovens only light up but dont go onto heat no matter what gas mark is set on the knob. The flame just remains small and extends to the thermocouple.

I took the back cover off to find 2 flamesafety’s 1 for each oven, so I thought, hang on, for both to fail at the same time would be pretty unlikely. Same for thermostats too.

Betwen the FSD’s is a blue spark gen box that has 3 wires from each FSD connecting to it thus providing a common point of failure.

Anyone agree wth this idea or am I talking rubbish ?

The box is a Kigass model D9805/1 and has a temp rating on it of T85 so it mush have something to do with the temp too.

Otherwise what else is common to both ovens that could cause this ?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Ron
