Leisure Electric double oven GR6CVK

I have a problem with the top oven/Grill, when you turn the switch on nothing happens, no fan, no light , nothing. Following the advice on another site. I was led to beleive that it could be the thermostat, I bought a new one and fitted it, still nothing. My next guess is it could be a faulty switch, but before I go ahead and order it, could someone give me advice on this please?

Its normally the small white cut-out stat on the back of the oven cavity was it this stat you replaced ?

no if you do a search for this code 263100016 it is a top oven thermostat. This is what I changed, and it made no difference. I am not sure what you are meaning. Do I need to take the back cover off to see this??

Yes you have to take back cover off and its on the back of the cavity
