I have a Leisure CS100C510K oven and the 2nd oven works and the main oven used to work but has now stopped. The light and fan come on when setting the temperature but it doesnt warm up at all.

The problem may have happened after a recent power cut. We have reset the clock as in the manual but main over doesn’t heat. The manual is pretty hard to understand, though, and I work in software so am used to some impenetrable stuff!

if the fan inside the oven is running plus the temp light on the front of the cooker is on then its most likley to be your element

the only way you can be certain is to access the terminals and test it with a multimeter

it looks likely your element should be this one

double check the sizes with yours

I thought I’d try testing the element, as it seemed most likely, but when I took the fan/element cover off the back, there didn’t seem to be screws holding the element in but some odd headless light grey thing (unless the screw heads had been sheared completely off?) anyone know how to remove the element?

Or is it like the one in this video, that I need to go round the back? There does seem to be some other screws on the back of the oven to maybe get the whole back off from the inside? Any tips?

    video is correct
turn it round , undo screws and back hinges out

then you can measure element and it it needs changing screws are accessable from rear
